| Itinerary | | Day One
Upon arrival at Bordeaux airport, you will be collected by your private car and chauffeur and taken to your first hotel of the trip, Relais de Margaux which was a former winegrower's estate. After having checked into your room you will have time to freshen up before dinner.
This evening you will dine in one of the hotel's restaurant lovely restaurants.
Day Two
After breakfast, your driver and English speaking Wine Guide/Tour Manager will collect you from your hotel and take you for a morning wine touring which includes visits to the grounds of four out of the five First Growths in Bordeaux - the most prestigious and most highly acclaimed Bordeaux chateaux. These are located in the great wine villages of Margaux and Pauillac and include Chateau Margaux, Chateau Latour, Chateau Lafite Rothschild and Chateau Mouton Rothschild. The grounds of these Chateaux and the buildings themselves are truly breathtaking and very photogenic. You will also have a visit to a Chateau in Pauillac to give you the special opportunity to see within the Chateau and winery itself and discover the art behind wine making.
Following your morning wine touring you will be taken back to your hotel. The hotel has a very good brasserie where you will have lunch. After lunch you can have a round of golf on the Relais de Margaux 18 hole golf course.
This evening you will be collected by your private car and taken for a private dinner at a famous Medoc chateau. You will be invited to a special gourmet dinner accompanied by the chateau's wines. This is not a restaurant but a private invitation from a great chateau to join them at dinner as their privileged guests.

Day Three
Very early this morning you will be collected and taken to the destination meeting point for your exciting balloon ride. Following the balloon ride you will enjoy a Champagne breakfast before being taken back to your hotel.
This afternoon you will be taken to a typical French brasserie in the centre of Bordeaux for a traditional lunch.
Following lunch you will check in to the Four Star Luxe hotel Regent in Bordeaux. This afternoon you will be met by a city guide who will arrange a guided tour of the city's main attractions, including the wonderful cathedral, the art galleries and the theatre with its magnificent stair case.
For dinner Quintessentially Escape will arrange for you to dine at an excellent restaurant in Bordeaux which specializes in dishes from the South West of France in an extremely atmospheric setting - like a traditional French kitchen.
Overnight in Regent Grand Hotel, Bordeaux.
Day Four
This morning, after your buffet breakfast, you will be taken for your 'Wine Making Experience' day out with your wine guide at Chateau Franc Mayne which is located in the renowned vineyards of St Emilion, on the Right Bank. Throughout the day you will learn about the wine making process and even have the opportunity to do some wine blending yourselves. The day will include a private invitation to lunch at the Chateau.
You will return to Bordeaux in the late afternoon.
Dinner this evening will be at a restaurant recommended by Quintessentially Escape.

Day Five
Today, we will take you to a Vinotherapy spa located at Les Sources de Caudalie, a luxury hotel in the grounds of Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte in the famous Graves wine region. Here you can have a morning of relaxing treatments before lunch in one of the hotels excellent restaurants. The spa is famed for its treatments and pioneering developments involving products made from grapes.
For your final dinner, you will be taken to the Saint James restaurant on the outskirts of Bordeaux. This renowned Michelin Double rosette restaurant not only serves magnificent food, but offers fantastic views over the city of Bordeaux.
Overnight in Regent Grand Hotel, Bordeaux.
Day Six
After breakfast you will check out of your hotel ready for your return journey home.
